Monica Sjöö (1938–2005) was an outspoken pioneer of feminist art and female spirituality. 'Spiral Journey', which was unpublished during her life-time, is a collection of writings that describes her pilgrimages to the sacred sites of Britain, from Cornwall in the south to Callanish in the north.
